Borderline is a unique theatre ensemble, shortlisted for the Community Integration Awards, and it’s back with a new show for 2019.
PLEASE MIND THE GAP BETWEEN THE CONTINENT AND THE ISLAND.
Expect humour, horror, live music and candy floss.
In this production the UK is a beautiful funfair led by a panto-villain accordionist prime minister who rules the place. Refugees and European migrants try to walk together through the different attractions created by her hostile environment policy.
“This show is their stories, their voice, their talent and their sense of humour. It’s also an ode to the UK we love: a satirical play with a Sudanese, Italian, Syrian, Gambian, Iranian, Iraqi, Afghani, Zimbabwe, Armenian and French touch." - Sophie NL Besse (Director).
