Safe Passage needs your help creating a little bit of history.
The 15th November is the 80th anniversary of the Kindertransport, when British communities put pressure on Neville Chamberlain's government to open its doors to child refugees escaping Nazi-occupied Europe, an action that led to 10,000 children's lives being saved.
We're marking this anniversary with a big event and we need a team of volunteers to help make it a truly memorable occasion.
Are you able to get to central London and free between 1pm and 5.30pm on Thursday 15th November? Sign up - https://actionnetwork.org/forms/kindertransport-80th-anniversary-event-volunteer-sign-up/
The event will bring together former child refugees who arrived in Britain on the Kindertransport, their descendants, host families and recently-arrived refugees.
The event will be hosted by BBC 5 Live Broadcaster Emma Barnett, with speakers and attendees including TV presenter Esther Ranzen and David Attenborough.
